What we're looking for

The position is part of the Style Department and is for a Graphic Designer – Textile Designer working on the BEACHWEAR line.
The successful candidate will support the Senior Designers in developing designs and graphics for the MEN’S and KIDS’ collections.
The ideal candidate has an artistic and graphic design background, combined with a strong passion for fashion. They are creative, have a strong aesthetic sense, and keep a close eye on the latest trends.
The candidate has previous experience in the fashion/textile industry and is able to manage projects from the initial concept through to the finished product, monitoring suppliers throughout all sampling and production stages while maintaining constant communication with all teams and stakeholders involved.
The ability to effectively liaise with the Creative Director and other departments, while following company guidelines and respecting roles and responsibilities, is essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Research and analysis of fashion trends and color palettes
  • Creation of moodboards
  • Digital development of all-over patterns and placement prints using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Digital development and research of motifs and embroidery designs
  • Creation of print colorways and variations
  • Creation of photographic garment renderings, including photography, background removal, and color/pattern replacement using Photoshop
  • Preparation of technical specifications and supplier briefs using Illustrator and Excel
  • Layout and preparation of seasonal catalogues using the internal B2B software and InDesign
  • Constant collaboration and communication with all departments involved in the relevant projects

Requirements

  • Excellent proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Ability to develop graphics and patterns based on the Creative Director’s guidelines and in line with the company’s aesthetic
  • Excellent command of English
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to prepare technical drawings and specifications for sampling and production, as well as to effectively communicate technical information to suppliers
  • Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Knowledge of the brand, target audience, and key competitors is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of apparel fabrics and the main printing techniques is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in a textile printing facility is considered a plus, but is not essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role
